Echeveria is a popular succulent native to Mexico in the stonecrop family. Its blue-green leaves grow in a tight rosette up to 6 inches across. It will readily make offsets that can be propagated when large enough. It will bloom with a 1-inch yellow flower in summer. They are typically grown as house plants and will not survive a hard frost.
